The Ballistic Defence ZIRH 3.0 LOADOUT Inner Removable insert provides discreet, mission-ready ballistic protection for field operatives and executive security personnel. Designed to fit inside tactical bags, briefcases, and backpacks, the removable insert delivers Level IIIA handgun protection while staying lightweight and ergonomic for all-day carry.

  • Protection Level: NIJ Level IIIA — capable of stopping common handgun calibers including 9 mm, .45 CAL, .44 Magnum, and .357 Magnum.
  • Certification: Independently tested under NIJ 0101.06 protocol for verified ballistic performance at Level IIIA.
  • Multi-Hit Capability: Tested for multi-hit performance under NIJ 0101.06 protocol. Each impact dissipates energy through the panel structure; repeated strikes at the exact same point may reduce localized performance.
  • Backface Deformation (BFS): Tested below the NIJ 0101.06 maximum allowable limit of 44 mm. A reduced backface signature limits blunt-force trauma transferred to the user at the moment of impact.
  • Weight: Lightweight design for prolonged carry and minimal fatigue.
  • Fit: Low-profile insert sized to fit standard tactical bags and briefcases.
  • Finish: Durable exterior with water-repellent and abrasion-resistant treatment.

  • Post-Impact Service: Panels that have absorbed a recorded hit, sustained a hard drop, or shown surface damage should be inspected by a qualified technician and replaced if structural integrity is compromised — internal damage is not always visible from the outside.
