Return & Refund
Due to the personal safety nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns except in cases of manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Please review the policies below carefully before placing your order.
Ballistic protection products
Body armor, ballistic plates, plate carriers, and helmets may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original sealed packaging.
- Return window: 30 days from delivery
- Condition: Unused, in original sealed packaging
- Non-returnable: Items that have been worn, used, or removed from original packaging for body-contact fitting. Custom-made or special-order armor is non-returnable under any circumstances.
- Damaged or defective items: If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product. Return shipping for confirmed defective or damaged items is covered by Ballistic Defence — a prepaid shipping label will be provided upon RMA approval.
Tactical clothing & accessories
Tactical pants, shirts, belts, bags, and non-ballistic accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn and with original tags attached. Return shipping for non-defective clothing returns is at the customer's expense.
Size exchange
If you ordered the wrong size and the item is unworn and in its original packaging, we offer a one-time complimentary size exchange within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping for size exchanges is covered by Ballistic Defence. Contact us at info@ballisticdefence.com with your order number to initiate an exchange.
How to initiate a return
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending any item back. Returns received without an approved RMA will not be processed.
To request an RMA:
- Email info@ballisticdefence.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if the item is damaged or defective.
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid shipping label.
- Ship the item back in its original packaging using the provided instructions.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit to your account.
Warranty claims
If your product develops a defect after the 30-day return window, this may be covered under our 5-year limited warranty. Warranty claims are handled separately from returns. Please refer to our FAQ page for full warranty terms, or contact us at info@ballisticdefence.com.
